To whom it may concern,
Has the state of IL, or the IDNR, ever discussed incorporating a dedicated bike loop in or around Lowden Miller State Forest? It would be a nice piece of mind for us locals if we had somewhere to ride off highway, away from cars. It would also be good for revenue and tourism as well since cyclists like to plan day trips and experience new areas. Surrounding states, and nationally, have recognized this boon to their revenue and have become proactive with building new trail networks that entice riders to visit.
If you would like some examples simply Google “new mountain bike trails in Midwest bring revenue”
Thank you for your consideration,
